Grady Hospital is searching for experienced candidates for the position of floor technician.

• $15.00 per hour; bi-weekly pay!
• MUST BE COVID-19 VACCINATED
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREEN & BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities for floor technician

• Removes trash and linen to proper collection areas
• Shampoos and extracts carpeting and upholstery
• Works with Supervisor and Project Planner on inter office moves and relocations moving furniture and other objects as needed
• Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limit to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment
• Prior job related experience is preferred
• Provides floor maintenance
• Other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned
• Common Area Cleaning, including public restrooms
• Assists maintenance supervisor as requested with other housekeeping/maintenance duties

Qualifications for floor technician

• Floor care experience required, previous hospital experience preferred
• Experience/Proficiency in Floor Care, Carpet Cleaning/Maintenance required
• Loves working with others/patients
• Ability to verbally express oneself in a professional manner
• Experience with quality assurance standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
