Reporting to the Director of Change Management & Communications and serving one of our head clients, this position will help build and deliver a comprehensive communications strategy for a major client. They will play an essential role as a part of a team who elevates communications to key stakeholders around the country as well as ensuring quality and consistency in messaging.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, has excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and writing skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate is a fast learner and has strong skills using MS Office 365 collaborative tools (SharePoint & Teams).

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Develops communications by writing, editing, and producing complex content for the client’s communications programs and projects
  • Ensures consistency with the brand and editorial guidelines in terms of tone, manner, and messaging
  • Manages projects or project components by coordinating stakeholder contacts; recommending or assigning team resources based on project needs and team member strengths
  • Acts as a communications consultant, analysis, and management of project plans
  • Ensures successful implementation of communication efforts by consulting with stakeholders on change management and implementation strategies, assessing effectiveness of communications, and making modifications as necessary
  • Monitors key performance indicators and ongoing effectiveness of communications, ensuring communication plans are implemented on time, on budget, and within agreed upon specifications
  • Develops, organizes, and maintains communications to ensure easy access to information across the client’s footprint. Supports users and content owners in navigation, editing, and usability.
  • Support the development and execution of change management strategies during key program or organizational changes and transition 


Full time; remote

Salary: $90-125,000

  • The ability to work effectively within a remote environment and across different stakeholders
  • Knowledge of business administration and program management principles
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office 365 basic tools and collaborative tools (SharePoint/Teams)

  • Canva or other design tool for flyers and other graphic creation

Required Experience

Preferred Experience

  • One (1) year experience creating/managing intranet sites using SharePoint
  • One (1) year experience supporting leadership communications
  • One (1) year experience creating and executing stakeholder management plans
  • Two (2) years professional experience in the development of digital or multi-media content
  • Two (2) years experience in change management or communications support

Required Education

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.

Preferred Education

  • Masters degree in communications, journalism, English, humanities, business, social science, or related field
