BCI seeks a dedicated and passionate Security Training Manager to serve as an integral part of the security and care delivery team for a leading healthcare provider.

Position: remote + 20% travel
Core Responsibilities Include:
Planning, coordinating, and delivering training and staff development programs in assigned healthcare facilities for Security Officers, Supervisors, and other on-site employees
Leading training programs for specific sites and client needs that meet legal and contractual requirements
Developing and proposing department policy and procedures to define first responder obligations, as well as new training programs to address emerging issues
Researching and remaining current in Federal regulations impacting healthcare and first responder operations, as well as defusing aggressive behavior training guidelines
Conducting needs analysis studies to identify operational discrepancies and confers with supervisors to determine training needs and approaches
Formulating training policies, programs and schedules based on identified training needs
Selecting appropriate instructional procedures and approaches, such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, simulation exercises, and computer based on identified training needs
Organizing and developing manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia aids and other educational materials
Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training such as healthcare specific, new employee orientation, on-the-job training, health and safety practices, supervisory development, and adaptations to changes in policies and technologies
Performing tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned healthcare division, facility, and site
Be 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED
Have a reliable and functional means of communication (i.e., cell phone)
The legal right to work in the United States
Possess a valid government-issued driver’s license or state-issued I.D.
Active state issued guard card preferred
Successfully pass the client’s pre-employment screening process (Drug Test, Health Screen, Criminal
Ability to properly wear an N95 mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines while onsite
Complete healthcare competency assessment and training on defusing assaultive behaviors
