BCI Is Seeking A NIGHT SHIFT FLOOR CARE SUPERVISOR THAT WILL FOCUS ON THE UPKEEP OF A VERY PRESTIGIOUS BUILDING!

Night Shift: 7:00pm – 3:30am

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible Floor Care Supervisor to maintain and protect our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing floor care services in a commercial environment along with providing carpet and hard floor services. They will have great physical endurance to cover floor services in a large commercial tower. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial & Floor Care maintenance jobs.  The Floor Care Supervisor position will at times be required to assist the custodial crews with cleaning duties as needed by Shift Sr. Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
  • Operate handheld and riding scrubber equipment
  • Shampoo & Extract Carpets
  • Spot treat carpet stains
  • Order supplies with Account Manager to ensure product is always stocked
  • Perform equipment inspecitons
  • Report major damages and oversee repairs
  • Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks

Skills

  • Proven experience in a floor care role
  • Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
  • Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
  • Attention to detail and conscientiousness
  • Very good physical condition and strength
  • High school diploma is preferred but not required


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.15 per hour
